Other features that set this dog carrier backpack apart include: An adjustable and removable hip belt for proper weight distribution Wide-grid mesh panels ensure maximum ventilation Breathable and padded mesh shoulder straps engineered for the greatest comfort Adjustable and removable hip belt for proper weight distribution Straps under the back to attach a dog blanket, jacket, or sleeping bag Of course, it also has other great features including: Tie-backs to secure the side windows for visibility and cross ventilation Premium YKK locking zippers (to keep pets from nudging them open and escaping) Built-in leash you can attach to your dog’s harness for extra security Gear storage: 2 zipper pockets – one with a key clip, cardholder pockets, and extra slip pockets – laptop sleeve and water bottle pocket on the side of the pack My biggest criticism of this pack is there is still not enough space to carry my supplies when I hike with my dogs alone without someone to help carry the rest of the gear (which is almost always)
