Orange Black: a classic wet fly from Favorite Flies and Their Histories (1892) by Mary Orvis Marbury
Long Jerks (Sinking Stickbaits) For sinking stickbaits, the long jerk technique is devastating: Cast and count down to your target depth (e.g., 5 seconds for mid-water) Make long, sweeping rod strokes (60-80 centimetres) while winding one or two reel turns Pause for 2-5 seconds, letting the lure sink and glide Repeat, varying the length of pause to find the feeding depth Most strikes come on the pause or during the first moment of the next sweep

Offshore, Reels, Reels, Rock & Surf, Rock and Surf Bait Fishing, Trolling 🔎 This reel is in a good condition, it does have a few scratches here and there, it looks like the drag system is working perfectly, one thing, I think it might need a service in the future because it sounds as if the bearings might be a little bit dry, but this reel uses a magnetic type of oil, so it might be the type of oil as it sounds different than other reels, furthermore it's in a good condition
