Agave flexisperrima Belamcanda first to yellowAgave x flexisperrima is a 2022 Plant Delights JLBG introduction of a hybrid of two North American species, Agave flexispina and Agave asperrima. This seed grown crop, from seed collected near Santa Maria del Oro in Durango, Mexico, has shown exceptional vigor. The offspring share traits of both parents all with the asperous (sandpapery) leaf backs. Some clones have narrow, guttered leaves like Agave asperrima, while others have wider, flattened
