This elegant effort is coming along very nicely and it has reached a stage that could certainly be enjoyed now but for my taste I would allow this another 4 to 6 years first in order to develop a bit more depth as well as broadening the finale

Storm, Vrede Chardonnay other_regions_italy with fruit and flowersThe 2023 Chardonnay Vrede is raised in 32% new oak, with the wine going 75% through malo. This has a fragrant bouquet with orange blossom, citrus fruit and light stony scents. Very good definition and focus. The palate is very well balanced and side by side this has more nervosit and mineralit. Precise and focused on the finish with plenty of sapidity, this is an excellent Chardonnay from Hannes Storm.
