An Optical Laser Source is used to accurately determine the Insertion Loss (IL) of each fiber segment measured. RBOLS 510 is designed to work best with the RBOPM 500 power meter. Both units support Wave ID feature. The Laser Source unit has a backlit LCD display and protective orange rubber casing similar with the RBOPM 500 design.
