In 2014 this is the finest of the four Barolos from this modernist estate

Much more discreet but again not invisible wood treatment suffuses the overtly spicy aromas of red and dark currant

at least relative to the prior wines

A cool, pure and ultra elegant nose offers up notes of freshly sliced green apple, citrus zest and discreet floral hints. The sleek, refined and almost delicate flavors dance across the palate while delivering both good minerality and fine length on the beautifully well balanced finish. This is textbook Bouchres. 92 2024+
