The dense 30" tall x 5' wide clumps of evergreen (or should I say ever-grey) finger-shaped

but the most common is a green leaf with a wide central stripe of silver

'Halcyon' is a splendid golden hosta with a dramatic dark blue green edge. With morning sun, the golden color intensifies.
