I had the opportunity to retaste the wonderful 2015 Hermitage and have taken this opportunity to up my rating of it a couple of points
The harvest date returned once more to that of tradition
The 2011 and 2012 vintages are close cousins
although the 2010 vintage of this wine was shortly to be released when I visited the estate (but I did not get a chance to taste it)

A very pretty nose offers up notes of essence of pear, hazelnut and a whiff of citrus peel. Succulent, round and plump medium bodied flavors possess plenty of sappy dry extract that helps to buffer the moderately firm acidity shaping the balanced finish that flashes excellent depth and persistence for a villages level wine.
