The label is no longer there, but Ive had other examples in the past, many with a label identifying the maker as artisan Martine Gruber, although there were other makers as well. Pieces like this were part of the 1970s movement to hand make products as part of a rejection of machine made disposable fashion. The wool is arranged in rows in mixed tones of blue and black
