Chateau Meursault, Pommard Epenots Vintage:2017 pungent earth and plenty of(from Petits Epenots). Moderate wood combines with notes of plum, dark raspberry, anise and earth scents. The medium bodied flavors possess an attractive velvety texture thanks to the abundant amount of dry extract that also serves to buffer the firm tannic spine on the sappy, dusty and ever so mildly austere finale. This serious effort will definitely require at least 6 to 8 years of cellar time to become more civilized. (90 92) 2024+
