-Photo start sequence

 

-Manual operation:

  • Jog in feed conveyor
  • Jog exit conveyor
  • Jog ring
  • Open/close film clamp
  • Jog power vertical rollers
  • Jog in-feed pusher
  • Jog exit pusher     

             

-Auto selection:

Start machine mode operated by photo eye on the Orbital in-feed conveyor. Photo eye shines across customers incoming conveyor to detect the load coming onto Orbitals in-feed conveyor.

The roll is pushed into the wrapper by the powered arm.

Arm pushes the roll into correct position.

Two idler rollers swing in to secure the roll against the drive rolls.

The roller begins turning and the ring starts wrapping the product

like a cocoon.

-Settings:                 

    Select number of bands around the product.

   Diagnostic screen for trouble shooting.

In-feed Conveyor:

 – 36’ long gravity roller conveyor

– 1.9” diameter roller on 3” centres with 7/16” hex shafts

-BFR 32” between rails

-Adjustable feet up to 1.5”

-Photo eye for load detected

-Painted FOX blue

-Approximately 28” to top of roller from the floor

Centre Conveyor:

 -Four rollers for the roller to sit on.

-Two urethane drive rollers 3” dia. To rotate the roll while being wrapped

-Drive roller motor ¾ HP AC

  Exit Conveyor:

– 3’ long gravity roller conveyor

– 1.9” diameter roller on 3” centres with 7/16” hex shafts

– BFR 32” between rails

-Adjustable feet up to 1.5”

-Photo eye for load stop

-Painted FOX blue

-Approximately 28” to top of roller from the floor

5” DYNAMIC Friction Film Carriage:

  • 5″ Friction Dynamic film delivery system
  • Easy thread film carriage
  • Adjustable mechanical force to load

 

Ring:

 Ring 1 1/8” thick x 40” I.D.

-Ring is stress relieved and machined to 15th of an inch for smooth operation

-Ring supports by four Urethane wheels with dual 5/8” I.D ball bearings

-Ring driven by two 12” diameter Urethane wheel with axle shaft 50MM diameter

-1 HP AC motor with brake VFD controlled.

-Ring speed 0 to 70 RPM  

Film Clamp:

 -80 PSI @ 3 CFM air supply required film clamp/cut

-Pneumatic piston movement

-Film clamp operates at end of cycle or can be operated manually to opened/close,

 controls on touch screen in manual mode
